This position is with a small firm of dedicated and deeply passionate entrepreneurs. The job title "Executive Assistant" doesn't fully describe what we are looking for. We are looking for a highly reliable, intelligent, ambitious, and loyal member of our office team. We are opening a new office to concentrate on several of our start-up business ventures and a few older ones. We are committed to actively seeking out the most talented people when we fill positions.​ A qualified applicant will have a broad perspective on world affairs, not be shy or timid when it comes to working with highly driven, sometimes controversial, and very opinionated executive level entrepreneurs. Position Description

The Executive Assistant is responsible for providing front office, administrative, and personal support to the two senior partners of our small private firm. Specific responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Responsibilities:

  • Managing and protecting each partner’s time through strategic scheduling, prioritizing, and communication management.
  • Carefully planning & accepting meeting requests

  • Completing a wide range of projects from beginning to end with little to no supervision. The right candidate will be an intellectual "McGyver" who is not offended or discouraged when given a project with little micro management and sometimes little assistance.

  • Prioritizing, responding to and following up on emails and telephone calls

  • Manage personal and business social media accounts on Twitter, Facebook, and Wordpress blogs.

  • Outsourcing, managing external project time lines, and obtaining bids on appropriate projects.

  • Occasionally Making travel arrangements (flights, hotel, cars etc.​)

  • Running work-related and personal errands

  • Coordinating and planning with partners & stock-holder’s family members

  • Maintaining list of contacts

  • Organizing, processing, scanning and filing hard copy mail

  • Printing, scanning and other general office duties

  • Assisting others in the office as directed

  • For the first several months working at the front desk managing a very low traffic front office/reception area.

Qualifications:

  • 5 +​ years related experience
  • Exceptional performance and commitment to excellence.
  • Above average intelligence and problem solving skills.
  • Familiarity and competence with social media.
  • Record of keeping things confidential
  • Ability to work under stress and amidst controversy.
  • Ability to thrive in an environment of constructive criticism and high levels of responsibility.
  • Persistent and tactful when appropriate.
  • Articulate and willing to take on new projects and learn new skills regularly.
