The Research Lab Specialist in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences and the Cancer Center Pharmacokinetics Shared Resources assists the principal investigator with the collection and analysis of data for specified research projects. Performs laboratory experiments with minimal supervision. Learns and develops new procedures. Manages specific, but limited, laboratory functions and trains laboratory personnel. Demonstrates effort to increase knowledge of a specific area of research and participates in the presentation and/or publication of research results. Properly conducts specific projects and maintains efficient laboratory operations. . Writes and maintains laboratory standard operating procedures.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in an appropriate scientific field plus a minimum of eight years of relevant post-degree work experience is required, or, Master's degree in an appropriate scientific field plus a minimum of seven years of relevant post-degree work experience is required, or, PhD in appropriate scientific field plus a minimum of four years of relevant post-degree work experience including postdoctoral and/or technical staff experience is required. •
- Experience with quantitative HPLC techniques with application to drug measurements in biological samples as well as LC-MS-MS experience is preferred.
