The Coordinator will provide support and coordination in the daily duties required to comply with process integrity, systems monitoring and data collection requirements for a specific entity (an entity defined as a specific group designated to specific responsibilities). The candidate will review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs. He/she will formulate systems to parallel overall business strategies. Candidate must have knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment.

The candidate will assist in maintaining a process for collecting, reviewing, approving/disapproving and storing information. Work with project team members on completion of required documentation. Support collection and organization of documents for Design History Files. Plan and organize non-routine tasks with approval. Initiate or maintain work schedule. Establish priorities of work assignments.

Description of Job Duties:

  • Coordinate Science SBA activities.
  • Line setup, Tracking the progress and completion of R&D Studies.
  • Coordinate BDC and GW R&D, PQ, Filing/Aging and OQ Build and Testing activities.
  • Coordinate SA and FG builds, track down documentation and LHRs, keep FG inventory.
  • Track units through build and test process.
  • Communicate project status by preparing standard status reports and by participating in departmental and project status update meetings.

Special Skills Needed:

  • Excellent communication skills, personal computer proficiency, especially in the use of spreadsheets and organizational ability. Proficiency in Microsoft Project.
  • This position requires data preparation.
  • This person must possess the appropriate level of customer service skills necessary to effectively interface with all levels of the Project Team.
  • This requires a highly organized individual capable of handling many data inputs and issues concurrently, PC skilled with spreadsheets, word processing.
  • May require a Bachelor's degree in a related area and 1-3 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
