- The Entry Deployed Support Generalist (DSG) acquires skills and knowledge in a variety of services to provide support to the Headquarters mission.
- The officer applies some knowledge of several administrative functions, develops and utilizes internal networks and resources to accomplish mission objectives, and with training provides basic administrative guidance to employees on established policies and procedures.
- With direction, areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to: finance, human resources and training, information management, logistics, travel, cover administration, contract administration, event planning, facilities management, and security.
- In order to perform and execute the work Duties/Tasks and Responsibilities, the position requires competency in organizing, problem solving, administering and communicating.
· The officer typically responds in a timely and efficient manner to immediate supervisors and associates.
· The officer establishes productive relationships through regular contact in the office, and periodic contact with working-level counterparts in external offices/agencies to further the Agencys mission.
· The officer generates routine written correspondence with some editing, and maintains working level relationships with other U.S. Government agencies as well as commercial and internal service providers.
· The officer develops knowledge and skills in the execution of more than one discipline, as listed above.
Qualifications:
- Relevant training and work experience in business administration, accounting, marketing, retail, customer support, office management or communications may be substituted for an advanced degree.
- An Associates Degree in business administration, public administration or communications and related subjects from an accredited institution is desirable but not necessary.
- Zero to two years of Agency experience. Alternately, two to four years of private industry, not-for-profit, or other government agency experience in fields related to business administration, accounting, marketing, retail, customer support, office management or communications are applicable.
Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. This position requires the candidate to already possess an active Top Secret/SCI with Full Scope Poly Security Clearance and to maintain the clearance.
