A senior-level professional, the Systems Development Senior Specialist is competent to work on complex projects and applies an in-depth knowledge of engineering/automation concepts, practices and procedures. The incumbent regularly works under deadlines and is capable of handling high workloads. Incumbents may provide guidance to and assist in training less experienced staff. Incumbents are responsible for the installation, development, implementation, and customization of hardware and software system elements.
REPRESENTATIVE PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Software design, engineering and/or development for internal use.
Works with users to ensure successful system implementation.
May provide guidance and assists in training of less experienced staff.
May research or write portions of technical proposals.
Maintains state-of-the-art knowledge and compiles information into recommendations and analyses.
2-4 years of experience with .net, C#, asp.net ( C# experience to require Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA))
4+ years of experience in developing Web Applications and IIS
Experience with any of the following technologies is a plus: Agile project management, test driven development, Microsoft Silverlight, Microsoft CRM.
3+ years of progressively responsible related technical experience, including 2 years developing large, technically complex systems
4+ years experience in Software processes and lifecycle (requirements, design, development, test, production, maintain…)
CRM or BizTalk experience helpful, willing to train
Total Programming experience 3-5+ years
Education and Typical Years of Experience: Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field or equivalent work experience.
