in our San Francisco offices.

Responsibilities:

• The applicant is expected to deliver results and innovation in user experience, modern interfaces, information delivery.
• Also, he/she will be expected to be able to work well in a team environment.
• The applicant should participate in the design, development, documentation, analysis, creation, testing and modification of computer systems and programs based on and related to system design specifications at YellowPages.com.
• He/she is expected to be educated in the theoretical and practical application of specialized knowledge related to computer systems, analysis, programming and software engineering while working semiindependently with limited supervision.

Qualifications:

• Building scalable systems in Java on a Unix platform.
• A candidate who is flexible in implementation options is preferred.
• A proven track-record of technical leadership, including responsibility for design or architecture
• Good development-process skills: structured design documentation,build processes, coding >
• Demonstrated ability to identify and take opportunities for code re-use.
• Experience with algorithms, data structures, performance optimization techniques, and object-oriented programming.
• Interest and demonstrated ability to work in complex team environments, with evolving team membership.

Education:

BS in CS or MS/Phd preferred
