Head of Biostatistics, New Jersey Pharmaceutical Co.

Summary: As US Head of Biostatistics for a mid-size global pharma, you will report to the President, be a key communicator with the FDA on several upcoming NDAs, and work with global colleagues on international submissions. You and your growing team of direct reports will work on a multi-therapeutic pipeline, including filing multiple NDAs over the next couple of years. This company is located in a very attractive area of New Jersey with excellent school systems and commutable from PA and NY.

Location: Central, New Jersey location

Responsibilities:

In a nutshell, you will: a) design Statistical Analysis Plans (SAPs) for several drugs in various stages of clinical development, b) manage direct reports and external resources (e.g. CROs), c) review and analyze clinical data, d) provide Senior Management with advice and guidance, e) communicate with FDA representatives, f) design/develop/review ISS/ISE data to be included in NDA filings, and g) work with global colleagues on global submissions.

Requirements:

• PhD is required.
• Eight (8) or more years of biostatistics experience gained working for pharmaceutical and/or biotechnology companies.
• A proven track record of developing effective Statistical Analysis Plans (SAPs) for drugs in clinical development.
• A proven track record of leading NDA submissions.
• A proven track record of communicating effectively with FDA representatives.
• A proven track record of managing direct reports as well as leading and coordinating activities with CROs.
• Strong communication skills.
