IIS Supply Chain and Quality contributes significantly to the creation of distinct competitive advantages for Raytheon by managing complex relationships in support of cutting-edge technology products and programs. They provide solutions that ensure customer success through collaborative solutions, integrated logistics, materials acquisition, product management and subcontract management.
Job Description:
Responsible for multiple disciplines within the supply chain process. Primary function involves Material Pricing consisting of reviewing and pricing Bill of Materials for new Program proposals and ECP's. Ability to bid Procurement labor and contribute to Task Description Basis of Estimates. Work closely with internal customers to ensure all requirements, specifications and Statements of Work are appropriate for the tasks or products required. Identify strategies to reduce risk and cost. Requires detail and accuracy. Must comply with all DCAA Audits at any time. Familiar with Government purchasing requirements and regulations (FAR, DFARS, etc.).
Candidate will also be responsible for purchasing parts, software, software license agreements, components, materials, equipment and services in support of company requirements. Requires detail and accuracy. Able to work independently with little direct supervision. Participate in source selection process at proposal and execution phases; working with supplier development, planning and proposal support processes. Initiate and review Requests for Quotations and Proposals utilizing all required information as defined by Raytheon policies. Analyze and negotiate pricing and terms and conditions. Select and recommend suppliers. Follow up on orders placed, verify delivery and review and approve supplier invoices. Evaluate and monitor supplier's quality and reliability, including supplier's ability to support required delivery schedules. Work with internal customers to ensure specifications and Statements of Work are appropriate for the tasks or products required. Identify opportunities and strategies to reduce risk and cost. Comply with all public law requirements as well as company and business policies and procedures, import/export regulations, and employ sound business practice as well as assess supplier performance as part of follow up activities. Ensure that appropriate documentation is provided to logistics organization so that proper receipt is recorded. Ability to interface and support both internal and external customers.
Required Skills:
Bachelor's degree with 2 years of applicable work experience or equivalent. Basic knowledge with writing a price analysis, along with good procurement file documentation skills. Experience with DCAA Audits and strong familiarity with government purchasing requirements and regulations (i.e. FAR, DFARS). Computer literate in MS 2007 Word and Excel skills required. Good interpersonal skills and enjoy working as a team. Must have good computer skills and be proficient with MS Word and Excel. US CITIZENSHIP WITH THE ABILITY TO OBTAIN AN SSBI SECURITY CLEARANCE.

Desired Skills:
Ability to multi-task, work independently, a self-starter who is motivated. Proven customer service skills. Six Sigma certified.
Required Education (including Major): Bachelor's degree in a Business related discipline.
