CDL Driver Description Our Relief Professional Delivery Representative works primarily in our warehouse as an Auto Parts Handler. You would be either: stocking, picking our CARQUEST products off our shelves or loading our trucks for the night delivery run. This is a physical position and you will be lifting quite often. When there is a need for an extra truck driver, you will be called upon to help out those available routes. Responsibilities include: checking out the load and assembling the bill according to the trip order, noting any discrepancies in orders and keeping the required records, reports, counts, and trip logs. JOB REQUIREMENTS for the Warehouse: • High School diploma or equivalent GED • Frequently lifting 20lbs to 50lbs • Certain zones require the ability to lift up to 100 lbs. using handcarts or other aids • Attention to detail • Ability to read invoices or use bar coding devices for our paperless warehouses JOB REQUIREMENTS for the Backup Driver: • Valid CDL license with HAZMAT • Safe Driving record • Knowledge of DOT regulations and requirements • Ability to learn several routes and remain flexible with driving schedule We are an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer
