Develops the provider network (physicians, hospitals, ancillary groups & facilities, etc.) yielding a geographically competitive, broad access, stable network that achieves objectives for unit cost performance and trend management, and produces an affordable and predictable product for customers and business partners.
Evaluates and negotiates contracts in compliance with company contract templates, reimbursement structure standards, and other key process controls. Establishes and maintains strong business relationships with Hospital, Physician, and Ancillary providers, and ensures the network composition includes an appropriate distribution of provider specialties. Contracts with providers for Commercial, Medicare and Medicaid products, utilizing a variety of reimbursement methodologies.
- Manages and is accountable for professional employees and/or supervisors.
- Responsible for the financial impact of provider negotiations.
- Manages the overall strategic relationship with key providers in the market.

Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills working in a large, matrixed organization
- Strong quantitative skills, with experience in financial modeling
- Able to understand and work with complex computer systems
- 5 to 7 years of previous experience leading a team of people with a track-record of success
