System Director Revenue Cycle

Department: Patient Financial Services

Schedule: Full Time

Shift: Days

Hours: M – F, 8 to 5

Job Details:

· Position will direct and lead all revenue cycle operations for the hospitals that are part of Wellmont Health System.

· Responsibilities include pre-service, admitting/registration, patient accounting, chargemaster maintenance and contract management. Must be well versed in revenue cycle benchmarks. Must possess the ability to implement change to achieve best practice performance.

· Position will direct and lead all revenue cycle operations for the hospitals that are part of Wellmont Health System. Direct reports include Director of Preservice Operations, facility-based Patient Access Directors/ Managers; Director of Central Business office and Director of Chargemaster Management.

· Qualified candidates will have 5 to 7 years experience in hospital revenue cycle operations with significant management responsibility. Advanced degree and/or CPA a plus.
