Registered Nurse Unit Coordinator $7,000 Sign On Bonus



Cumberland Hospital for Children and Adolescents is currently recruiting for a full-time RN Unit Coordinator. Cumberland Hospital is a 134-bed state licensed and JCAHO-accredited specialty rehabilitation hospital. We provide specialized care for young people whose disabilities, injuries or lifelong illnesses are compounded by emotional and/or behavioral problems. Our campus is located on 98 acres of riverfront land between Richmond and Williamsburg, Virginia in New Kent County .

Position Purpose:

  • Administrative and clinical responsibility for functioning of Nursing Services on the unit.
  • Program on a 24-hour basis to provide leadership role modeling for assigned staff.
  • Supervise the program staff and the PRN staff assigned to the unit.
  • Provide direct patient care, medical management, assessment, and crisis management for the patient population.

Qualifications:

  • RN license
  • 2 years experience of inpatient rehab, brain injury, chronic illness, or neurobehavioral experience required
  • 1 year of progressive experience in management and/or supervision
  • Strong leadership skills to ensure quality care for the children
  • On-call responsibility
