Job Description:

An exciting opportunity exists for a seasoned Sales Manager to join a growing company that develops and manufactures industry-leading, high-end desktop PC computers, workstations and servers. These computers utilize several innovative developments, making them a unique product in the computer industry. The company mission is to provide compelling technology solutions that surpass the expectations of even the most demanding computer user while providing the best value to customers.

The Sales Manager will be responsible for all aspects of sales, including overall coordination, the functional management, and leadership of all the sales and channel management activities of the business. The Sales Manager will be responsible for establishment of both annual and monthly sales objectives and coordinating the specific objectives of the sales plan with the Directors of Operation and Director of Customer Service. The Sales Manager establishes both the sales and channel management strategies for the company. The Sales Manager is responsible for all sales and channel management functions of the business. The Sales Manager is expected to spend a significant portion of time in the field generating sales.

Additional Responsibilities include:

  • Seeking out and targeting new customers and new sales opportunities
  • Initiating action plans to approach and secure new business for the company
  • Identifying and establishing agreements with the appropriate channel partners.
  • Developing, maintaining, or improving business relations with all company customers.
  • Developing and executing tactical sales plans and channel management

All candidates MUST have the following experiences to qualify for consideration

  • DO NOT APPLY unless you have a minimum of 10 years of experience as a Sales Manager in the computer industry with proven results
  • DO NOT APPLY unless you have a minimum of 10 years of experience specifically selling desktops, workstations. and servers
  • The right candidate will have extensive experience in B2B, enterprise, or corporate account sales. Candidates with experience selling primarily to resale or retail/e-tail accounts are NOT the right fit for this position.
  • This position requires a candidate who is willing to travel up to 100% of the time.
  • Experience with internet sales desirable
  • The initial target markets of this position include: medical imaging, CAD workstation, industrial, video production, university/research, and military/aerospace. Previous experience selling within these markets is highly desirable.
