Quality Assurance Engineer: LetsTalk.com, Inc.

LetsTalk.com, a high growth, profitable San Francisco-based ecommerce company, develops leading edge high volume wireless ecommerce web sites along with enterprise solutions for wireless procurement.

As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you are a key player on the Development team. You will apply your general knowledge of consumer web sites to learning how to procedurally test the LetsTalk.com website, and databases using established testing methodologies in order to expedite the fast delivery of reliable and robust functionality to our customers. Your efforts will ensure the seamless integration of new features into the existing system. We are looking for a motivated, hands-on individual who will quickly adapt to a fast-paced environment and can be relied upon to work effectively on individual projects as well as team-based work.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, schedule, and execute test plans.
• Write comprehensive bug reports.
• Work with Engineering and Product Management to prioritize bugs and assist in the timely resolution of defects.

Qualifications/Requirements

• BA/BS Computer Science or related degree is a plus.
• Some experience in a web or software development environment will be a plus.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with a diverse group of people.
• Familiarity with SQL databases and SQL queries is a plus.
• Familiarity with e-commerce systems, HTML, PHP, Java script, and other Web programming languages a plus.
