The Global Office Support (GOS) team is currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Receptionist in our Chicago office.

What Is In It For You
-Welcoming visitors and direct to meeting rooms when appropriate.
-Finding and coordinating available office space if requested. Maintain visitor log.
-Answering incoming calls, transfer and direct calls to appropriate staff or voicemail. Page or contact assigned administrative assistant when needed.
-Responsibility for incoming/outgoing mail, faxes, UPS/Federal Express/Courier packages.
-Providing basic Towers Perrin and other office information as requested.
-Maintaining schedule of office activities including daily and weekly employee schedules as appropriate.
-Reserving conference rooms in C&S database to include ordering breakfast, lunch, refreshments, etc.
-Coordinating service requests with Building Management and/or vendors.
-Serving as general information center, i.e., be knowledgeable about firm, clients, etc.
-Maintaining organized reception area; ensure resource information is current and easily accessible.
-Training backups for switchboard console.
-Assisting staff with projects, i.e., data entry, mailings, documents, reports, etc.
-Performing other duties as required, i.e., client information database backup, office mailings, etc.

What We Are Looking For
-Knowledge of office telephone and voicemail systems.
-Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
-Willingness to expand knowledge of the firm’s business including who we are, what we do, terminology whom to call for what.
-Excellent communication skills: attentive, articulate, appropriate vocabulary, well-organized thoughts.
-Build relationships with clients, vendors, and staff.
-Interpersonal skills: team player, tactful, sensitive, flexible, work well with others.
-Ability to prioritize and multi-task.
-Organized and resourceful.
-Work experience relevant to position, i.e., has held previous service position or role.
