Development Officer II, Sciences & Technical Education #09032 Perform professional level development work for the School of Health Sciences; the School of Science, Math and Engineering; and other schools or initiatives as assigned. Primary job function includes: cultivating relationships with current and potential donors and funding entities and their representatives; researching funding opportunities and histories and determining propensity to give; writing and assisting in writing private and public grant proposals for College approved projects; working with faculty and staff in the development of funding requests; making funding and informational presentations to potential funders including individuals, groups, and boards of organizations. Works under the supervision of the Director of Development. Bachelor's degree & three years of full-time, paid, work experience in development and/or grant writing required.
