NO CITY OF MADISON RESIDENCY IS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION

SALARY: $10.92 per hour

HOURS: Library Page positions must be available to work a variety of hours to include mornings, afternoons, evenings, Saturdays and optional Sundays. Hours available between 5 and 19-1/2 hours per week.

Downtown

CENTRAL LIBRARY - 201 W. Mifflin Street

South Central

SOUTH MADISON - 2222 S. Park Street

East Side

PINNEY - 204 Cottage Grove Road

HAWTHORNE - 2817 E. Washington Avenue

LAKEVIEW - 2845 N. Sherman Avenue (Northeast side)

West Side

MONROE STREET - 1705 Monroe Street

MEADOWRIDGE - 5740 Raymond Road

ALICIA ASHMAN - 733 N. High Point Road

SEQUOYA - 513 S. Midvale Boulevard

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Work quickly and accurately to checkout, sort, search and shelve books using Dewey Decimal System.

NECESSARY SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

a. Library Page 1 - must be at least 16 years old.

b. Library Page 2 - must be at least 18 years old.

c. Exam is required - applicants can schedule examination date and time with Human Resources Department after submitting a formal application form.

d. Ability to maintain adequate attendance.
