• Clinical director pay opportunity is: $68,348.80 - $109,158.42 annually (DOE)

• Service the emergency needs of the Sterling community including patinets from family practices, nursing homes, the Colorado Department of Corrections and smaller towns within 35 miles

• Provides managerial and/or clinical support to emergency department patients and staff
• Supervises employees and participates in selection, orientation, counseling, evaluation and staff scheduling
• Responsible for emergency staff competencies
• Has 24 hour responsibility for the provision of high quality, safe and cost effective patient care, environmental control and customer service
• Will function as the Director of Nursing during his/her absence
• Maintains a depth and breadth of clinical and management knowledge to advance the nursing profession

Minimum Qualifications:

• A current or temporary Colorado or other compact state RN licensure (or the ability to obtain one) is required
• Demonstrated leadership ability and at least 3 years clinical experience relevant to the patient population and scope of care of the ED department
• The demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective communication and working relationships with staff, physicians, patients and their families is required

Prefered Qualifications:

• Educational preparation at the level of a Bachelor's Degree in healthcare is minimally preferred, Master's Degree in healthcare is strongly preferred
• Additional related education and/or experience preferred
