Position Description:
We have unique opportunities for IT Business Analysis Consultants in our newly formed Strategic Planning and Alignment Team - Enterprise Strategic Alignment Center of Excellence and Process Center of Excellence. Our vision is to provide a proactive approach for anticipating and solving business problems and enable the enterprise to effectively, efficiently adapt and transform; resulting in a formal blueprint of governance structures, business semantics, and value streams across the extended enterprise.
Primary Responsibility:
- Business Process Modeling to analyze the alignment of business capabilities with delivered technology
- Provide baseline support for the centralized EA repository and strategic road mapping processes
- Provide maintenance for the communities of practice surrounding Business Process Management and Business Architecture
- Document standards and guidelines on how to unambiguously define and describe business and systemic requirements for information systems projects
- Collaborate across other areas of the Enterprise Architecture team
- Facilitate open communication and fact-based decision making
- Facilitate change and process improvement within software development and business organizations
- Research, identify, and recommend industry best practices for solving business problems
- Perform audits of the enterprise model to continuously improve performance
- May develop business solutions using AquaLogic BPM
- Gather needs, develop reports, run reports to support both ad hoc and repeated requests for EA Information using Casewise
- Collaborate with cross segment teams on best practices, standards, and guidelines and publish findings to shared community of practice sites for the technologies that we steward
Qualifications Qualifications:
- 2+ yrs experience with IT Software Design, specifically in a role as a Team Lead/Project Manager, Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, Modeler (visual representation of how the business functions), or Architect
- Experience participating in business and solution analysis where more than one solution is analyzed for selection
- Experience with at least 2 of the deliverables below have you personally authored in projects (authored not a contributor)
- Business Case
- Program Charter/Vision
- Process Models
- Requirements/ Use Cases
- Architecture/Design Diagrams
- 1+ yrs experience with (qualified) facilitation experiences including
- Leading analysis
- Requirements
- Design meetings to drive out agreement among stakeholders
Assets:
- Masters Degree
- Healthcare Industry experience
- Knowledge of the UHG Business and IT Landscape.
- Experience in delivering analysis and analysis models in at least 2 of the following areas:
- Business Strategy
- Organization
- Process
- Requirements
- Applications
- Data
- Experience with any of the following:
- Business Process Modeling
- Business Process Management
- Business Process Automation
