Description Evercare Hospice brings together professionals and specially trained volunteers who offer expertise, experience and interventions to patients with life-limiting conditions, ensuring they are treated with respect and dignity during a uniquely personal time of transition.

We seek an outgoing, proactive individual with polished communication skills to fill a field-based Hospice Community Outreach Representative position. The chosen candidate will promote our hospice program in the designated territory.
The Community Outreach Coordinator will spend the majority of time in the field, focusing on the following responsibilities:
- Building and maintaining relationships with referral sources such as physicians, nursing homes, assisted living facilities and hospitals
- Delivering presentations and promoting Evercare Hospice within the community
- Meeting with patients and/or their family members to present product information
- Ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations
- Attending weekly sales meeting
Qualifications
The chosen candidate will possess:
- Marketing/sales experience gained within the healthcare industry or a hospice service setting
- Strong customer service skills
- Public speaking/presentation experience
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- A high level of proficiency with Microsoft computer applications
- Experience in outside sales including territory management
