Senior Manager, Vendor Master Data Group-31155
Description
The Primary function of this role is to manage the daily operations of the Vendor Master Data group within Finance Shared Services located in Natick, MA. This includes the timely and accurate processing of vendor master additions and changes. The role is responsible for reporting non compliance with corporate master data policies and procedures especially as related to Health Care Provider requests.
Strong influencing and partnering skills required to work with other business units to ensure the on going operation supports the needs of the purchasing, disbursements and health care compliance groups. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of master data governance policies and procedures with an ability to increase the services offered by the group. The leader must demonstrate an ability to maintain a strong control environment (including SOX, health care provider and internal controls). Finally, the ideal candidate will have demonstrated the ability to meet and exceed service level agreements within a shared services environment.
Acting in a Business Partner role with respective internal customer (Procure to Pay teams, Health Care Compliance office) you will develop and manage key customer relationships as well as extend services through use of influencing and relationships.
Specific responsibilities as the leader of the Master Data group, you will be responsible for managing setups/updates and reviewing requests for accuracy and missing information, setting policies and guideline to allow the team to properly analyze requests for new vendors to determine if the requested vendor is a new or existing (including Health Care Providers) and ensuring the timely and accurate response to data requests from various internal customers (business and compliance groups) to meet required deadlines and service level agreements.
The qualified candidate will have a Bachelors Degree and a minimum of 8-10 years business related experience, specifically in Master Database management. SAP Experience considered a plus. We are looking for someone with the ability to Influence at senior levels of the organization, have knowledge of Health Care Provider rules as pertaining to master data management, be self-motivated who can constantly adjust to changing priorities and be a team player in a shared services environment.
