Accountability's and Responsibilities

Customer Service duties including but not limited to:

§ Efficiently and accurately operating point of sale equipment including Lottery Terminal, Money Order machine, scanning and handling different methods of payment

§ Handles customer complaints in a courteous and professional manner.

§ Provide every customer with a warm and friendly greeting, fast efficient service and a sincere THANK YOU

§ Stocking merchandise

§ Working with other store employees as a member of a team

§ Basic cleaning, sweeping, mopping, removing trash and maintaining a clean and sanitary environment

§ Maintains a safe working and shopping environment at all times through enforcement of safety and security procedures

§ Assists customers at the Fuel Island as needed

§ Effectively communicate with customers and co workers

§ Performs other duties as assigned by the Manager, Assistant Manager or Customer Service Leader

§ Verifies currency and coin in cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift

§ Completion of cashier paperwork at conclusion of each shift

§ Understands and follows all cash handling procedures

§ Completion of competencies

q Orientation – cashier station

q “We Card” program

Safety and Robbery Deterrence

Requirements / Pre-Requisites

§ Displays outstanding work ethics at all times in the areas of honesty, efficiency and dependability

§ Display punctuality and a neat appearance

§ Must be able to work all shifts as requested

§ Must be able to work weekends and holidays

§ Pass the background check, Sales person interview and drug free workplace requirements

§ Basic Math skills are required

Physical Requirements

§ This position requires constant standing, bending and reaching with a moderate amount of manual dexterity. Frequent lifting of 1 –5 pounds and occasionally lifting of up to 50 pounds are required

§ Ability to perform tasks in all areas of the store which may include exposure to the cold while working in the cooler / freezer and while maintaining the parking lot and exterior areas of the stores perimeter

Qualifications

§ A High school diploma or GED is a plus

§ Customer Service experience is a plus
