Major Global Manufacturing Operation



Job Description: Major global manufacturing operation seeking a Director of S&OP for NA division. Will be responsible for maximizing operating profits and improving operational performance standards, while aligning Marketing, Sales, Production, Raw Materials and Logistics plans.

  • Lead / improve the SOP process dynamically with changing market and organizational needs.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to resolve projected departmental / functional trade-offs and supply / demand imbalances aligning Marketing, Sales, Production, and Logistics plans.
  • Maximize company operating profits and improve operational performance standards.
  • Design improvements to the SOP and related Sales Forecast processes, through continuous benchmarking against best-in-class references.
  • Build collaborative planning processes with strategic partners to increase supply chain visibility and drive supply chain performance improvements.
  • Define inventory targets to balance customer service and cost to serve.
  • Define and track relevant departmental and operational KPI’s.
  • Create continuous education process to ensure broad organizational support and alignment behind the SOP vision.

Job Requirements:

  • BS in Supply Chain, Business, or closely related degree.
  • MS / MBA a major plus.
  • APICS, ISM, or other related Supply Chain certifications highly desired.
  • 10 + years of Supply Chain or Operations Management required.
  • Lean and/or Six Sigma experience preferred.
  • Experience in developing new and sustaining existing processes.
  • Experience driving and supporting organizational change.
  • Proven influence, collaboration, motivation, change management, project control, relationship, and team-building abilities applied to levels of an organization.
