Responsible for serving as a Transaction Processing Associate on behalf of ACS. Administers Defined Benefit, Defined Contribution and Health & Welfare processing functions for plan participants. Research and resolve any open processing issues.
-Carry out all processing transactions including, but not limited to address changes, beneficiary forms, tax issues, direct deposits, loans (origination, repayments and payoffs), retirements, withdrawals, final distributions, rollovers, check reconciliation and annuities.
-Maintain and update Participant Account Servicing System (PASS) and Account Inquiry System (AIS) issues regarding processing items; follow-up on open items, close out PASS upon completion.
-Process similar transactions utilizing multiple system and software platforms in a timely fashion to meet departmental service levels.
-Must achieve and maintain required quality levels as per departmental standards.
-Assist in answering questions and resolving processing issues for other internal departments.
-Liaison with external client representatives to identify and resolve any open processing issues.
-Work with trust representatives regarding check re-issues, stop payments, check delivery reports and stock re-issues in order to process work.
-Research all participant historical case management information prior to the processing of transactions to ensure that correct course of action takes place.
-Perform and complete any special projects for clients as needed.
-Draft and send necessary correspondence regarding research findings and processing information to plan participants.
-Attend any and all departmental meetings as required.

Education and Typical Years of Experience:
-Analytical and quantitative aptitude and proficiency in computer applications and systems skills required.
-Must possess excellent interpersonal skills, self-motivation, and good organizational skills. Must maintain professionalism in dealing with others.
-Good judgment to know when non-standard processes exist and how to bring items to resolution with minimal to no supervision.
-Must possess excellent attention to detail and proofreading abilities.
-Must be a team player and work well with others.
-Ability to use word processing and spreadsheet software packages. Ability to navigate within a Windows environment essential.
-Ability to work in a high volume, high-pressure environment.
-BA/BS is required
-1 to 2 years of clerical experience in a professional office environment
-Benefits Experience is a plus.
