Job Description
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience experience in welding and metal fabrication (Wind Towers preferred)
- Wind Tower manufacturing experience a plus
- Mobile and able to handle multiple projects/locations
- Excellent cross cultural communication skills
- BSME/Civil Engineering or equivalent experience
- Lead Various Projects and Improvement Activities within Supply Chain Management
- Many of the Projects are in the field and will require travel and onsite monitoring and execution.
- Follows up on supplier production plans
Coordinates:
- with U.S. Transport Group
- internals delivery, together with DK planning
- Green taggers at Supplier together with Quality in DK
- production together with Procurement in DK
- transport at supplier with truck/rail and Ameron
- Communicates Production Plan to Quality to ensure support (B&W Green Tag, Supv.) is on-site
- Handle questions to drawings. (Connection between Engineering and supplier)
- Support when starting up production of new tower types
- Support to supplier if there are general issues to be handled, technology etc.
- Supervises Internals Installation by Supplier Employees
- Planning and Controlling of Internal Components on Delivery
- Supplies/Monitors Paperwork for Internals
- Compliance to Installation Standards
