Job Details:
Maintains and fosters effective public relations with patients, the public and other disciplines of the health team. Assists Therapist and/or Technician with basic set up for and clean up from provision of patient care for assigned Ancillary Services outpatient department/clinic. Registers patients. Inputs data in computer system, and assists with patients as necessary with completion of health forms. Able to schedule with good phone and customer service skills. Responsibility for processing, tracking and verifying department paperwork as assigned. Medical assistant certification required. Performs other duties as assigned. Follows PPH rules, policies, procedures, applicable laws, and standards. Carries out the mission, vision, values, and quality commitment of PPH.

Job Requirements

Minimum Education: As required by certification and/or licensure
Preferred Education: Not Applicable
Minimum Experience: 1 - 2 years medical assistant office experience
Preferred Experience: Orthopedic, pulmonary, cardiology and/or neurological MD office clinic experience
Bilingual - Spanish
Required Certification: American Heart Association recognized BLS - Heartsaver
Medical Assistant Certification
Preferred Certification: Not Applicable
