Research Grant Writer

Temple, TX

You will be in charge of researching, developing, writing and submitting grant proposals to the appropriate public (government) and private (foundations, corporations, organization) funding entities. You will need to work with appropriate staff and management to collect information needed development.

Requires a Bachelor’s degree; Master’s preferred. You must have at least 3-5 years of experience in grant writing and reporting in a healthcare setting. You must be knowledgeable in government funding mechanisms and processes, government request for proposals, criteria checklists for assessment of priority scores, as well as private sector grant agencies. Requires excellent writing and editing skills, the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines. You must also be detail-oriented and able to work independently with the ability to successfully procure health care related grant funding and program development. Proficiency in research, interpretation and analyzing diverse data required. Knowledge of federal/state legislature, regulatory and grant funding processes required.
