Human Resources Trainer and Suppot
Established company located in the East Bay has a opening for a Human Resource Trainer and Support position. This is a temp to perm position, starting ASAP. Candidates must be able to work in a fast pace enivroment with a sense of urgency. Must be extremely accurate in their work. Key Responsibilities as follows:
Work with Director of Human Resources in creating a corporate wide training program for various needs including Managing training programs, Supervisor training programs, HIPAA training, Harassment training programs, etc. Track all training programs for completions and certificate acknowledgements. Run the quarterly safety incentive program for each plant. Collect Affirmative Action data and run annual affirmative action reporting. Including reviewing data with Director of Human Resource prior to uploading data in the system and putting together graphs and presentations for review of materials. Collect and track accident and near miss data for all plants. Assist Director of Human Resources in managing Workers Compensation claims. Organize the Employee Appreciate events for all 3 plants annually including coordinating catering, a DJ, gifts, give a ways, etc. Coordinate other Employee events such as Turkey give a ways, Holiday luncheon, safety tam gifts, etc. Coordinate and Assist in processing the Annual ERISA audit. Collecting all the data for the auditors, etc. Creating all required census reports for benefit renewals annually. Recruiting in Management level positions at all plants including sourcing resumes, screening candidates, running reference checks, etc. Keep HR boards current with current regulations and Federal and State mandated posting for all plants. Audit all full time employee timecards weekly for meal break compliance, missing punches, etc. Assist with processing termination when needed (after approved and reviewed by Director of Human Resources). Conduct Employment verifications.
Working hours: 8:30am-5:15pm
BS/BA degree in Business Administration, Human Resource or related field or equivalent experience and / or 3-5 years in TRaining and Human Resource generalist experience a must. Excellent written and verbal cummications skills; excellent employee relations, teamqork and interpersonal skills. Computer literate in MS office programs abd HRIS software.
