Position Description

The Risk Analyst is an integral part of the Risk Management Team and will perform a variety of monitoring, compliance and underwriting duties to assist the company in minimizing its risk exposure.

Specific Responsibilities will include

· Monitor transaction processing

· Gather credit information

· Evaluate financial credit data

· Assess potential risk exposure

· Review and monitor transaction activity

· Process service requests

· Assess merchant compliance with industry regulations

· Communicate with clients, vendors and internal staff via, fax, telephone, and mail

· Maintain detailed, accurate records

· Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Business/Accounting or equivalent work experience in a related field preferred.

· 2+ years as a Risk Analyst preferred.

· 2+ years in the financial industry required, credit card industry preferred.

· Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced, highly demanding and challenging work environment with multiple priorities.

· Must be familiar with underwriting concepts, risk practices and procedures.

• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Strong telephone customer service skills.
• Strong documentation abilities with great attention to detail.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, Word, Excel.
• Advanced knowledge of Credit Card and ACH industry regulations very helpful.
