Job Description Essential Job Functions The Materials Management Analyst is a hand's on position supporting the materials management operations of various Data Management Customers. The position requires the ability to work independently, including initiative, strategic thinking, subject matter expertise, and the ability to develop and implement process. Written and verbal coordination with Broadlane and Customer Management is required. This position will be responsible for researching healthcare products, loading and maintaining product information in the customer's materials management information system, including product descriptions, units of measure, pricing and categorization. Required Skills A successful candidate possesses the following skills: ·Service oriented, congenial, and tactful personality. ·Exceptional focus on detail and organizational skills. ·Demonstrated superior verbal and written communication skills. ·Ability to work productively with minimum supervision. ·Ability to effectively analyze, present, communicate and exchange information to facilitate operational process development and documentation. ·Ability to build and maintain relationships with Customer contacts. ·Ability to work effectively as part of a team, collaborating to achieve departmental goals and initiatives. ·Proactive ability to identify problems and propose solutions. ·Demonstrated sufficiency in Microsoft Access, Excel, and Outlook. ·Functional knowledge of materials management systems. ·Assess current workload and prioritize accordingly within a fast changing environment. ·Special projects as assigned. Required Experience and Education ·A bachelor's degree and 1-2 years of relative experience preferred ·1-2 materials management experience required. ·Medical billing, medical purchasing, clinical, or other related healthcare experience preferred. |
