HUMINT SENIOR INSTRUCTOR
Job Description: The Interrogator/Field Training Exercise Branch Instructors shall have practical experience applicable to training HUMINT collectors (97E/35M). Contracted employees shall provide competent, technical HUMINT platform instruction; this may include developing lesson plans based on Government doctrine and tactics, techniques and procedures. Employees may be required to perform duties on a Mobile Training Team at CONUS and OCONUS locations. Employees may be asked to realistically, accurately and convincingly portray human intelligence (HUMINT) sources in a variety of role playing scenarios, in diversified settings and environments.
Required Skills: 4 years experience; Honorable service in a military occupational skill (MOS) of 97E/35M, (or an equivalent specialty in another branch of service or an equivalent specialty in other Government agencies i.e. DIA, CIA, FBI etc.) for a minimum of four years or have served as a HUMINT Trainer at USAIC&FH for at lease six months. Have 1-2 years MOS operational experience defined as working in a 97E/351E billet excluding drill sergeant or recruiting. Have knowledge of DOD and Intelligence Community organizations, structure, missions, and functions. Excellent written and oral communications skills. Must be able to use the following software programs to perform requirements that use office automation: Windows 2000/XP, MS-Word, MS-Outlook, MS-PowerPoint, MS-Excel. Have a current Secret or Interim Secret security clearance.
Desired Skills: Minimum of one tour in a TRADOC instructor billet duty. Three months contingency operation experience in OIF/OEF or the Balkans. Graduate of the Defense Strategic Debriefers Course. Graduate of the G2X Course. Graduate of the DIA Collection Management Course. Foreign language proficiency at a minimum 2L/2R level as set out in the Defense Language Proficiency Test (DLPT). Experience is using TRADOC course development products and procedures.
Required Education (including Major): BA degree, preferably in Political Science/International Relations/Psychology.
