The Creative Designer at Powerhouse Management is a unique opportunity to work on over 5 different website properties and all the associated collateral. They will be responsible for implementing exciting Web 2.0 based design in our creative works including website, ads, emails, collateral such as whitepapers & datasheets, and more. With multiple brands and new products coming out regularly in the B2C & B2B environments, the creative designer will have a unique opportunity to work on multiple designs with unique styles, layouts, and needs.
This is a CONTRACT position with potential for full time hire. Portfolio of work is required.
Responsibilities: · Create needed creative works including multiple company websites, landing pages, banner ads, collateral templates and more · Express your creativity by driving the design of multiple company brands with accompanying creative works · Create & inspire unique designs that help us standout in the marketplace utilizing Web 2.0 / modern concepts and designs · Create effective, engaging designs that support business objectives, adhere to established brand guidelines and meet legal requirements, with minimal direction · Able to create unique entertaining designs while still working within the style guide requirements · Be continuously aware of emerging technologies & design styles and how they will help improve our creative works · Communicate and sell your design solutions with Marketing to senior management and colleagues
Requirements: · Must understand Web 2.0 design concepts and have the ability to create compelling designs utilizing these concepts · Must be an expert graphic designer · Demonstrated understanding of user-centered design, web usability principles, modals, UI / UX design, capabilities of different platforms/browsers, & design constraints on the web all to improve readability & conversion. · Have solid working knowledge of all interactive technologies including HTML/CSS & Javascript · Understanding of eye tracking / mapping and how that should influence the layout of creative works including landing pages and sign up process · Aware of web analytics and how it influences designs · Understands the difference between B2C & B2B design · Solid skills in graphic design including website design & online advertising mediums · Strong written and oral communication skills · 5 plus years of professional web design experience with a proven track record for creating branded website experiences. Must provide a portfolio of work · Strong team collaboration and interpersonal skills. · Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. · Thorough familiarity with latest Adobe Creative Suite software · Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design
