We are seeking a Regulatory Program Coordinator to support all regulatory compliance activities in an administrative capacity: Interface with Taconic US site departments to monitor and assess compliance activities, interpret existing guidelines as set forth in applicable regulatory documents, provide training and support; assist in coordination of all IACUC (animal care and use committee) activities to support and ensure compliance with standards at all Taconic sites.

Specific Duties will Include:

  • Schedule and conduct (quarterly, minimum) regulatory compliance audits for all US sites

  • Assist in development and training for regulatory compliance policies and procedures (controlled substances, environmental, safety, etc.)

  • Maintain schedules of all required regulatory and quasi-regulatory activities for all US sites (license/certification renewals, inspections, report filings, etc.)

  • Maintain regulatory and quasi-regulatory (e.g., AAALAC accreditation) records in central repository for all US sites

  • Support information gathering and coordination activities for required report documents/cycles

  • Support IACUC in an administrative capacity: maintain records, prepare reports, assist with data entry, distribute documentation as applicable; assist with meeting minutes, general record maintenance (all US IACUC’s); assist in coordination of all IACUC activities

  • Coordinate and assist in the management of safety systems and programs

  • Monitor and analyze statistical measures for safety performance and improvement

Qualifications/Experience Needed

Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent from four-year college or university.

Coursework that supports strong organizational skills, written and oral communication skills, time management skills. 2-5 years experience

Background in law, or program implementation and support in the areas of controlled substances, environmental, occupational health and safety.

Safety program management and analysis experience preferred.

Compliance auditing experience preferred.

IACUC administrative experience preferred; IACUC 101-201 training required within the first year
