Sales & Marketing Assistant: IBB

This position includes a little bit of everything:

Sales: this may include calling small boutiques or creating a PowerPoint to send as a sales pitch for a big retailer. Administrative functions include creating sales orders for individual and store orders, ensuring these are shipped and arrive to customers.

Marketing/PR: promoting the jewelry through magazines, talk shows, and more. Determining where advertising would best be used and designing the ads.

Customer service: taking phone calls to answer questions about the products.

To fill this position, you should be organized and able to see projects through, from conception to completion. For example, after designing a piece of jewelry you must also gather estimates from various vendors, request samples, order quantity, pitch the new item to magazines, and oversee sales. Multiple projects will be going on simultaneously. This position helps to manage the design department. You will work with the design team on varied projects, ensuring that all photography and design concepts are done in a timely fashion and you will then submit work to the executives for approval. This may include branding new lines of jewelry, managing everything from carding concepts to website design.

Qualifications: Creative thinker with experience in management and marketing.

Ability to use: Photoshop, PowerPoint, Excel.
