Experience Required:

Product knowledge includes both self funded and fully insured concepts, to include Medical, Dental, Life, Accidental Death & Dismemberment, Short Term Disability, Long Term Disability, Group Universal Life, Employee Assistance Programs, Cafeteria Plans (i.e. Flex plans including Premium Payment Option, Medical Reimbursement Programs and Dependent Care Assistance Programs), Education Reimbursement Programs, Vision and 401k programs.

· Responsible for all marketing efforts and pre-underwriting procedures for all new and renewal business. Specific duties include preparing renewal Request For Proposal; “Follow up” with carriers to ensure timely receipt of RFP; Negotiation and interaction with carrier to ensure correct interpretation of benefits/rates offered.; Analysis and preparation of final proposal to client (final proposal consists but is not limited to cost analysis, benefit analysis, network analysis and claims analysis)

· Evaluate existing plan design and propose new lines of coverage with client.

· Participate in sales presentations.

· Cultivate and maintain relations with client by providing a high level of technical customer service. Assist with service, billing, claims and all other administrative carrier issues.
