Serving the people of Southwestern Alaska, the Yukon-Kuskokwim Delta Regional Hospital is a 50-bed general acute care medical facility. Fully accredited by JCAHO, services include adult med/surg, pediatrics, obstetrics, emergency room, as well as outpatient family medicine clinics, pharmacy, lab, and imaging.



Telecommunication Administrator in supporting, training, and first-line maintenance on corporate telecommunications systems and equipment; to coordinate maintenance and other telecommunications services provided by outside vendors. Also, to provide hardware and software support, diagnostic, preventive maintenance, and technical support. This position has primary responsibility for corporate support of VoIP operations.

To provide telecom support and management, to provide detailed fault diagnosis and resolution capabilities. Provide resource for product delivery, provide statistical analysis information for monitoring of trends and capacity issues.



An Associate of Applied Science in Computer Information Technology and Systems Management.
Preferred: A Bachelor of Science in Information Technology degree with an emphasis on Telecommunications.
Or certifications in Cisco IP Telephony and Cisco Networking.


2+ years working experience in Telecommunications.
2+ years experience with Cisco CallManager and Unity



CCNA Required
Cisco Voice Certifications preferred. (ie. CIPT, CCVP)

Telecom wire wrap tools, amphenol tool, 110 and Krone punch tool, various telecom testers, tone generated tools, IP analyzers and various technical hand tools.

At least 3 yrs. Working knowledge in Cisco IPT environments.
VoIP QoS Knowledge.
