Do you have a passion for the Montessori method of teaching children? Providence Montessori School has an opening for morning Teacher's Assistant in our new Lower Elementary classroom.

General Summary: As professional support staff in the pursuit of Service Excellence, Assistant Teachers work with the Montessori Guide in implementing the Montessori philosophy in the classroom and in caring for the safety and well being of the children in both the classroom and Enrichment programs.
Required: Associate of Arts Degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalency in experience. Experience in a certified Early Childhood program working with 3 to 6 year old children. Current CPR, First Aid and Food Handler's Certification or willing to obtain certification upon hire. In compliance with the Oregon Child Care Division, criminal history registration is required for this position, based on assigned duties.
Preferred: Montessori Assistant Teacher Training Certificate, or willing to become trained.
