Description A pharmacy resident reviews and assesses medication orders, contacts physicians, nurses and other caregivers to facilitate care. A pharmacy resident assesses patient response to drug therapy and recommends changes or alternative therapy. A pharmacy resident provides drug related information. Qualifications Minimum Education: BS in Pharmacy from an accredited College of Pharmacy Minimum Experience: Two years of relevant experience preferred. Required Licensure: Must be licensed as a pharmacist in the State of Missouri or possess a temporary pharmacist license issued by the State of Missouri. Working Conditions: Requires processing work at a rapid pace, with frequent deadlines within and outside of the department. Frequent interruptions and distractions are encountered. Minimal travel is required. Physical Requirements: Long periods of sitting, standing, stooping, bending, and walking are required with ability to safely lift up to 45lbs.
