KEY ACCOUNT REP (Midland)  Job Description: General Summary: The Key Account Representative (KAR) works under the general supervision of the KAR Supervisor as the local customer service and contact for 25+ line accounts. The KAR meets the customer s needs of customer service, additional features, equipment and accessories. Responsibilities include assisting customers with issues, handling contract renewals, conducting customer bill analysis, probing for interest in additional features, services and accessories to sell to the existing account base and the attainment of sales and service targets. Additional duties and responsibilities include training key corporate clients on strategic products and features, assisting customers with B2B website on-site setup and support, conducting account review sessions (via phone or in person) as needed, providing supplemental support including billing inquiries, address changes, transactional rate plan changes and problem solving for the assigned account base.
Minimum Requirements: Strong communication and organizational skills, aptitude to learn communication products and services, ability to work independently without close supervision, good decision-making skills, ability to provide high levels of customer service, ability to interact positively with customers to offer sales solutions for communication needs.
Continued employment for this position is contingent upon successful completion of the Alltel training process, which includes the New Hire Training Assessment.
Education and Experience: High School diploma or equivalent; bachelor s degree preferred and 1+ years customer service experience in call center or retail environment.
Desired Qualifications: Knowledge of the wireless industry and Alltel billing systems; working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint are desired.
