Over a century of being the best – for patients, families and our community. Ultrasound Technologist

At Baylor Health Care System, we offer you more than a job. Our ultrasound technologists play a vital role in moving our hospitals to the next level of caring.

Our ultrasound techs perform important, high-quality examinations of various parts of the body. But they provide more than just medical images. They offer assessment, reassurance and a direction for the move to diagnosis and recovery.

Ultrasound techs use state-of-the-art sonic equipment to take readings of the appropriate areas and angles as requested by the physician and send them back for interpretation. They prepare patients for the procedures, process images and assist physicians as needed.

They also play an integral role in implementing technology upgrades such as an enterprise RIS / PACS system, connecting all Baylor facilities via a single radiology database. Plus, our extensive clinical affiliations give most of the radiology team the opportunity to teach and share their expertise.

We have career opportunities available for all levels of ultrasound technologists, including supervisors, on all shifts, including Two-Day Alternative, weekdays, nights and PRN, and at all of our system hospitals.
