The Agfa-Gevaert Group develops, produces and distributes an extensive range of analog and digital imaging systems and IT solutions, mainly for the printing industry and the healthcare sector, as well as for specific industrial applications.
| Responsibilities: |

Deliver highly specialized end-user training courses to the Graphic Systems customer base throughout North America. Focus is on ApogeeX and CTP workflows, as well as general prepress workflows and advanced production techniques.
- Research, develop and design instructional material and courseware for end-user training.
- Provide technical and application support to Sales, Field Service and Engineering Quality Assurance (EQA), including sales training and customer seminars.
- Participate in classes, seminars, trade shows and other training opportunities necessary to maintain technical expertise and awareness of new trends and emerging technologies.

| Qualifications: |
- Thorough knowledge of prepress and printing workflows with the ability to effectively communicate this knowledge to the end-user of the system or product.
- In-depth knowledge of Windows 2000/2003 operating systems, related networking systems, Apple Macintosh OS/OSX, Adobe PDF and their application in prepress workflows. Certification in either or all of these areas is a plus.
- Thorough knowledge of third party software applications as they relate to functionality and interface with Agfa equipment, e.g., Quark, PhotoShop, InDesign, Preps, Acrobat, Pitstop, etc.
- Excellent application troubleshooting skills and knowledge to diagnose and solve problems.
- Understanding of the printing industry and its processes.
- Effective verbal, writing and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently with a minimum of supervision.
- Ability to travel 90 percent of the time within the United States and Canada.
