Job Description

The primary responsibility of this position is controlling in / out gate access for our high value remote view secure locations, electronically from Green Bay. Responsible for inventory accuracy of SNI equipment, viewing for damage as driver enters the location, and surveillance at all SNI high value remote view secure locations. Answer all driver, customer, and internal associate phone calls directed to the CBC switchboard. Provide photo id badge and building access upon request. Respond to emergency situations at all Green Bay and some field locations. Responsible for building security checks and inventory of badges and keys.

1. Control in/out access to SNI high value remote view secure locations electronically from Green Bay. Promptly acknowledge driver over communications system. Accurately enter unit number and status into ER1X mainframe.

2. Promptly and courteously answer incoming driver, customer, and internal associate calls in a professional manner to favorably reflect upon SNI corporate image. Properly transfer them to the correct extension the first time.

3. Follow security procedures to limit access into remote view secure locations to authorized personnel only. Professionally and effectively address “unauthorized personnel” Call the appropriate authority when necessary.

4. Inspect all trailers for damages. Create unserviceable maintenance log for all found damages. Follow-up to insure that they do not get back into the system without being repaired first.

5. Properly identify load disposition upon driver gate entry. (Freezable, Hazmat, and High Value Loads) and follow established procedures.

6. Create photo ID access and non access badges for SNI employees. Manage lost, term, vendor, and temporary badges. Track associate who has forgotten badge, follow up with leader when necessary.

7. Provide surveillance to proactively prevent harm to driver, load theft, or pilferage of load at all of our high value remote view secure locations.

8. Perform a weekly equipment inventory / reconciliation to maintain inventory accuracy.

9. Schedule and set-up conference calls on the conference bridge. Assist associate with solution when conference bridge is full and they need a port.

10. Maintain a log for all authorized visitors and vendors accessing the Corporate Business Center (Fitness center, Business, Etc.)

11. Conduct security checks throughout the Corporate Business Center nightly. Randomly walk the outside perimeter and parking lot.

12. Respond to all emergency procedures for all Green Bay locations and some field locations: Fire, Tornado, Burglar alarms, etc..

13. Inventory all active security access badges and keys nightly

14. Use all applicable software needed to complete daily task (Video Central, Winpak, Agent Assist, Meeting place, excel, word, lotus notes)

15. Knowledgeable in mainframe screens (er2x, er1x, evhv, erlx, oe1v).

16. Treat information concerning company drivers, customers and associates as confidential.

17. Collect and track department key factor, FCSI, and productivity measurements (Inbound, downtime, phone calls, etc..)

18. Know all aspects of the receptionist role and provide back-up as needed.


EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS:

1. Spanish/English bilingual speaking is required.


2. Must possess high school diploma and 1 yr college, tech or business school.


3. Requires excellent oral and written communication skills


4. Requires strong customer service skills


5. Requires strong multi-tasking skills


6. Requires excellent phone etiquette skills.


7. Accurate and attentive to detail.


8. Able to work both in a team setting and independently.


9. Able to change work priorities and work with interruptions.


10. Able to work under stressful time constraints.


11. Able to work long settings reviewing/monitoring video


12. Enjoy working with people and provide consistent, cheerful customer service


13. Education or job experience in security process and procedures a plus
