The Role: People Analytics Manager

People Analytics Managers play a special role within Google. As the "rock scientists" of People Operations, they produce cutting-edge research, data analysis and reports to help Google identify top talent, develop employees' skills and potential, and ensure that we retain our top performers.

Responsibilities:
  • Use a data-driven approach to ensure that Google attracts, develops and retains top talent.
  • Relentlessly innovate how the company thinks about people programs and processes.
  • Challenge the status quo by driving new projects with a Google-wide impact: including the design of new research, data collection, implementation of recommendations and persuasive communication of the results.
  • Consult with senior business leaders to identify talent issues, using metrics and analytics to deliver high-quality recommendations to address the issues.
Requirements:
  • BA or BS degree. Advanced degree, such as MBA or PhD, preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive analytics or human resource experience.
  • Ability to communicate complex analytics in a structured and clear manner.
  • Ability to engage the team about the business and work.
  • Experience building relationships across functions, geographies and business units.
  • Experience driving change.
  • Possess a global mindset and think across disciplines, industries and cultures.
  • Proven ability to identify and keep others focused on the most important metrics that drive the business.
