Current Need
Responsible for conducting end-user training classes for customers and providing go-live support to end-users, regarding features and operation of software products.
DUTIES INCLUDE:
*Conducting software-related training sessions to our customers, using generally-accepted adult education principles to attain predetermined learning objectives. Instruction includes onsite end-user education and onsite end-user go-live support (often in patient care areas of hospitals). Technical courses and material may deal with complex situations, including cross-product instruction and clinical workflow. Adjusts lesson plans based on client customizations.
*Leading learning activities, administering learning assessments as requested, and guiding the achievement levels of students.
*Responsible for maintaining knowledge on new product functionality and industry trends and identifying prerequisite requirements for current and future courses. Must be willing to cross-train within related clinical product families to expand product knowledge and potential course load, based on demand and customer need
*Developing customer relationships and achieving our customer satisfaction goals.
MINIMUM POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
*RN or other nursing/clinical experience is strongly preferred.
*Understanding of clinical services and operations related to the healthcare industry including nursing, emergency department, hospital pharmacy and other clinical operations is preferred.
*Experience with Horizon Clinical applications including Horizon Expert Orders, Horizon Expert Documentation, Horizon Emergency Care, and/or Horizon AdminRx is strongly preferred.
*Provider adoption or implementation of physician/nursing applications experience is desired.
*Medication safety initiative, implementation and policies procedures experience is desired.
*JCAHO medication safety standards familiarity is desired.
*Experience improving clinical operations, process redesign and change management is helpful.
* Must be willing to travel up to 80% (travel may vary based on courses taught, from 20-80%, with occasional weekly stretches of up to 100%, depending on the specific position being filled and location of employee). Flexible schedule to meet customer demands for shift work (first and second) for onsite end-user training, with occasional weekend and/or holiday requests. Living in DFW Metroplex strongly preferred; living in Atlanta northern suburbs secondarily preferred. Remote positions may be possible.
