Digital Marketing Sales Representative The Albany Democrat- Herald, Corvallis Gazette-Times and Lebanon Express have an immediate opening for a qualified candidate to help drive sales efforts for our growing web sites, digital and print products. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of online sales and terminology coupled with a background in advertising or sales. We are looking for a candidate who is willing to take the lead and work diligently at new account acquisition in the Willamette Valley area as we expand our digital and print offerings. The right person will demonstrate the skills, customer savvy, leadership and determination necessary to help build the Mid-Valley Newspapers digital and print products. This person will play a key role in a team that is re-inventing the way the Mid-Valley Newspapers delivers advertising, news, classified and sports information. Bachelor's degree or 2 years related experience preferred. Applicants should be detail-oriented, possess solid customer service skills and be able to complete projects with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will enjoy seeking out new customers and have the ability to close business quickly. Basic computer knowledge required including: Experience with Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Prior sales experience a plus. 40-hour workweek Monday-Friday, with scheduling flexibility as business demands.
