Claims Manager - Santa Ana or San Diego, CA
Position Description:
Positions in this function are responsible for providing expertise or general claims support to teams in reviewing, researching, investigating, negotiating, processing and adjusting claims. Authorizes the appropriate payment or refers claims to investigators for further review. Conducts data entry and re-work; analyzes and identifies trends and provides reports as necessary.

Qualifications

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
  • 5+ years Claims Experience
  • 2 - 5 years supervisory experience in a client-facing role within a customer service claims environment is required
  • 3+ years UNET and/or COSMOS required
  • Intermediate Microsoft Word, Excel skills required
  • Solid experience with ICD-9 and CPT coding required
  • HR policy and procedures required
