| | Electrical Technician | Minimum Requirements : Incumbent must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent + 4 years experience as a Electrician and specialized education or Vo-Tech training, military or apprenticeship. In addition, the incumbent must be able to demonstrate good technical knowledge of plant and system processes. The incumbent must possess knowledge of functional systems interactions and must be able to pay attention to critical elements in a complex and regulated environment. Must be state certified as electrician.
Must be able to acknowledge and respond to flashing lights and sirens and be able to don a protective mask and evacuate up to 2 miles in an expeditious manner.

Job Description : Supports Maintenance by performing a variety of Electrical trade functions for a 24-hour chemical demilitarization operation such as the installation, maintenance, or repair of equipment for the generation, distribution, or utilization of electrical energy including equipment located in limited and chemical exclusion areas. Interprets designs, drawings, layouts, instructions and specifications in compliance with the TOCDF specifications and industry standards. Performs corrective and preventive maintenance tasks as necessary in limited and chemical exclusion areas to support Maintenance and plant operational requirements.  |
