Technical Trainer (285030-636): CommVault

The Technical Trainer will report to the Training Manager at the Oceanport Corporate Headquarters and will be responsible for the following:

• Conducting ongoing training for CommVault products and applications.
• Presenting information using a variety of instructional techniques and formats such as role playing, simulations, team exercises, group discussions, and lectures.
• Configuring and maintaining a classroom and lab network.
• Administering skill assessments and evaluations of students.
• Working closely with the Training Manager and Course Developers to manage training needs and initiatives.
• Developing curricula, training modules and job aids to facilitate learning and performance and improve compliance in response to product training issues (i.e. documentation).
• Assisting with the development of technical training documentation, manuals, user guides, and reference materials.
• Creating competency based training materials with input from the floor supervisors.

Required Skills

• 2+ yrs experience as IT Manager, Systems Engineer, or Network Manager
• 2+ yrs as a Technical Trainer
• Technical writing or course development experience
• Systems Administration level experience in MS Windows 2000/2003
• Technical exposure to Linux, Netware, TCP/IP, and/or SAN is a plus
• Proficiency in MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Visio, and Adobe Acrobat
• 40-60% US travel is required.
