Principal Contract Administrator - Endoscopy

Description


This position will be located in Marlboro, MA and support Endoscopy

This position provides legal assistance to HCP Compliance Counsel, primarily in the area of arrangements with health care professionals (HCPs), including with respect to preparation and negotiation of agreements, review and abstracting of agreements, administration of contracts and related processes and documentation. Assists with business unit HCP and other compliance obligations. Deals with highly sensitive and confidential material.

Job Duties:

· Assists in the development and maintenance of processes and procedures to maintain compliance with Company policies and health care laws, regulations and guidelines.

· Under supervision of HCP Compliance Counsel, provides support for the preparation and maintenance of agreements in compliance with Company policies and procedures.

· Assists in preparing agreements from templates and serves as liaison with business unit employees to provide information regarding the agreement request process, status of in-process agreements Also acts as liaison regarding revisions to in-process agreements. Responsible for maintaining agreements via contract database.

· Provides support for processes and documents relating to the contracting process, including service requests, check requests, data abstracting from contracts, etc.

· May interact with management personnel and third parties.

· Acts as a liaison with business unit employees to provide and intake information regarding the HCP agreement request process, negotiation of agreements, and status of in-process agreements.

· Works with HCP Spend Hub and Spend Solution, including searching database, uploading and maintaining documents, generating service requests and payment requests, and other related activities.

· Understands and complies with the AdvaMed Code of Conduct and all other relevant laws, regulations and guidelines.

· Identifies functions and business practices involving HCP arrangements.

· Assists with development of HCP compliance education and training program.

· Assists HCP Compliance Counsel with coordination with other areas (e.g. Legal, Finance, Human Resources, etc.) to ensure effective implementation of HCP compliance program.

· Responsible for generating and analyzing reports.

· Supports programs and policies designed to encourage employees in reporting suspected compliance issues without fear of retaliation.

Quality System Duties and Responsibilities:

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in legal or compliance preferred, including drafting of agreements and other documents.
  • Medical products, pharma or healthcare experience strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to effectively interact with individuals and groups on sensitive matters.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
