Responsible for enhancing our Java Web Portal and support new web initiatives based on internal customer requirements. Study existing system design and architecture. Modify the existing framework using new development and enhancements while ensuring overall quality and consistency. Design and develop the assigned module based on the existing Spring-Portal framework. Create various portal artifacts such as remote server, portlets, and webservices. Create SQL/Hibernate for the persistent layer. Create webservices for interacting with the back-end system. Create unit test cases and unit testing. Create technical design documents for the assigned module. Perform various production support activities including taking ownership of the rotating production support Pager. Provide technical leadership and assistance to team members. Utilize BEA Aqualogic, Oracle, HTML, Java Script, Spring Framework, Hibernate, WebServices, MVC Framework, BEA/IBM Portal System, JDBC, AJAX, XML, SVN, RAD 6.0, and RSA 7.
Qualifications · Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Information Systems, Computer Management, or related field. In lieu of a four-
year Bachelor's degree, employer will accept a combination of diplomas or degrees equivalent to a bachelor's degree as
determined by credential evaluator.
· 5 years of related experience.
· Must have five (5) years experience with the BEA/IBM Portal System and MVC Framework. Must also have gained prior
demonstrated experience with Webservice, Spring Framework and Hibernate.
